NATHANIEL HART, son of Josiah, born July l6, l746. Married
ABAGAIL SCUDDER, born August l4, 1751, daughter of a Joseph Scudder (not to be confused, with other similar names in this Family Tree.
They had four children. Nathaniel was chosen as one of the first seven trustees of the Presbyterian Church of Hopewell in l786. He was elected overseer of roads for Hopewell Township in 1784 . Elected as surveyor of Highways in 1788. He was a miller. Both are buried in Pennington Presbyterian Church Yard, Mercer County, New Jersey
