Montgomery is of great antiquity. Traced back to King Robert deBruce of Scotland and even 4 generations before that I have no dates on that but you could probably look up King Robert deBruce on the computer.

Col. William Montgomery was an officer in the America n Revolution. I
am in the DAR as his descendant but there are others that I could have used to join.
